First is a reminder about tonight Teresa James & the Rhythm Tramps show at Catfish Lou's ... 8 pm, $12. There are not many vocalists as powerful and soulful as Teresa James. Her band is a crack group of LA session musicians who record and play with many of the top acts in the recording industry. And, they'll be joined by a bunch of Portland's best to make this a party you don't want to miss.
Getting your evening off to an earlier start? James Low and his current band of "irregulars" will be doing the Thursday happy hour at the Laurelthirst ... 6 pm, no cover (and BTW, it sounds like a weekly LT happy hour for James is coming soon!)
It's also Thursday Swing at the Secret Society with Reggie Houston's B' Swingsters and Pete Krebs and the Rocking K Ranch Boys ... 6 pm, $10
