Then, there are the darker tales. Eric Taylor is an award-winning songwriter whose songs have been recorded by fellow Texas luminaries Nanci Griffith, Lyle Lovett and many others.

Kicking off the show is Portland singer-songwriter Thad Beckman. Thad’s adept guitar playing, gritty vocals and ability to tell a tale bring a fresh perspective to familiar themes and emotions. Along the way, his mastery of finger-style, electric and steel guitar earned him attention from fellow musicians.
