M. Ward and a host of other great performers will team up beginning tonight to celebrate the grand opening of The Crystal Ballroom's new Crystal Hotel. It kicks off tonight with Ward being joined by the Corin Tucker Band. Wednesday it will be with David Bazan. And, on Thursday, M. Ward and Built to Spill's Doug Martsch will be combining folk rock and indie rock experimentation during this unique Portland performance to cap off the three nights. Other venues on the site (Lola's Room, Al's Den, Ringler's Pub) will have performers including Mel Brown and Scott McCaughey all week. Those performances are free.
