The Stolen Sweets are doing a free happy hour show at the Secret Society Ballroom (116 NE Russell St.) ... sweet! .... 6 PM
There's a early show in the space above Mississippi Studio's Bar Bar with two really fine vocalists - Sara Gwen and Miss Michael Jodell ... 7 PM, $7
Live Wire! moves into it's new home at the Alberta Rose Theatre with guests Corin Tucker, Bobby Bare Jr, and Lizz Winstead ... 7:30 PM, $15 general / $30 reserved
Terry Robb is at Vino Vixens .... 8 PM, no cover
Bethaline & The Cajun Love Brigade will be at the Blue Monk on Belmont ... 9 PM, no cover
Becki Sue & Her Big Rockin' Daddies will be rockin' Duff's Garage for the dancers tonight ... 9:30 PM, $??

Saturday
Mary Flower and Thad Beckman will be playing some fine acoustic blues at the Alberta Street Pub ... 7 PM, $15

Rich Layton & The Troublemakers are making trouble at the Cascade Tavern in Vancouver ... 9 PM, $??
Cross-Eyed Rosie (on hiatus since the end of 2008) is back together for a final show at the Laurelthirst tonight ... 9:30 PM, $8
