An extra day in town for Pickathon, brings the Stone Mountain Boys (the project of Hacienda Brothers' Dave Gonzalez and Austin's Mike Barfield) to Duff's Garage .... expect some rockin' rave up tunes to get your week going .... 8:30 pm, $10
A treat at Jimmy Mak's tonight will be Portland native Jay Collins playing sax with Dan Balmer's band. Jay has been an integral part of Levon Helm's horn section for the past few years (and family - he's married to Levon's daughter Amy) ... and with a night off from Levon's tour (who, btw, did a fantastic show last night at the zoo!), he's going to sit in with some of his old friends and musical compadres. Should be fun .... 8 pm, $5
Bob Shoemaker is at the Rock Creek Tavern ... 8 pm, no cover
... and of course, Lloyd Jones will be doing his always entertaining Monday sets at the Muddy Rudder ... never know who might drop by! ... 7:30 pm, no cover
