So what's on the live music radar ...

Besides Fleetwood Mac in town this weekend, what else is going on? Well ... a bunch of excellent choices tonight ... how about:

Early music? Try the Sportin' Lifers at the Secret Society ... 6 pm, $5

Robert Moore has assembled an band of 13 stellar Portland musicians for his CD release show at The Bijou Cafe ... Robert is one of the smoothest vocalist in town, and backed by this band will make for a killer show ... 7 pm, $25 includes CD ... reservations recommended.

Jimmy Mak's will be jumpin' with Soul Vaccination (Saturday too!) ... 8 pm, $12

Black Prairie (left) brings it's eclectic and pleasing sounds to the Doug Fir. Swansea opens ... 9 pm, $18


Excellent double-bill at the Secret Society with the Tezeta Band and Brownish Black (right) ... 9 pm, $8


Ages and Ages bring their amazing choral harmony to Mississippi Studios (Saturday too) ... 9 pm, $10
