Where did summer go?..

Been a while since I, MaryXMass, the phantom poster has had a minute to post here..but had to remind you all about Ian Tyson show at Alberta Rose this Sunday, the 14th.  As he is in his 80's now, this may be one of your last chances to see an amazing song writer and real cowboy.  They have $20 tickets on
There may be a "secret" show with Fernando and full band on Friday at the Laurelthirst and hopefully Morgan Geer and Drunken Prayer will play a few more times before he leaves town at end of the month.  I worshiped at the church of Morgan last night at Secret Society and it made me see the light. I know there is a full day of fun planned at the Deer Lodge next Saturday.
Next big shows for me are Paolo Nutini at Roseland on Sept. 25 (because what's not to love about Italian boys with Scottish accents?) and my beloved, Ryan Adams on Oct. 5 at the Schnitzer, J.Roddy Walston and The Business at Doug Fir, Oct. 20 and then the dilemma, Fernando's album release party at The Star on Oct. 25 or that same night, Alejandro Escovedo and Peter Buck at Mississippi Studios (is bio-genesis possible yet?..or jet packs?)
Now back to the real world...see you out there..
