Music for Friday night, May 18

Slowly surfacing ....

Yes, I'm back from my two-month New Orleans sojourn ... I supposed I could bore you with that, but won't (at the moment) ... except to say it is, as a number of you know, a unique and fascinating city - unlike anywhere I've spent time, and where I felt quite comfortable (even in its unfamiliarity). Did I mention music ... there's a lot of it ... all the time. But that's only part of its story and attraction ...

Didn't communicate much on the blog (that's an understatement!), but used my time to disconnect from my customary activities and movement. Now the hard part is deciding what to reactivate and reconnect in my Portland life. That includes writing this blog in the way I've been doing for the past four years. We'll see ... not rushing into changes, but ...

Anyway, the actual point of this post/message is to remind folks of a few shows tonight and tomorrow you might want to check out ...
