Friday, April 6

Jim's Music Notes for Friday, April 6, 2012 submitted by guest blogger, Dave Johnson

Hey, it's me again with a few ideas for this weekend. First, I'd like to like to re-iterate the post Jim mentioned at the beginning of the week:

Davis Rogan will hold court at Al's Den at the Crystal Hotel Friday and Saturday at 7:00pm. Davis Rogan is a force to be reckoned with, is a contributor to the HBO television series Treme, and is an exceptional showman and entertainer.

At the Aladdin Theatre on Friday, you can catch Uncle Kracker's Hometown Tour who is touring in support of his most recent musical offering: Happy Hour. Uncle Kracker has penned a more positive spin on this disc. So come prepared for something a little different from what you're accustomed to at this performance. Give it a go!

Speaking of that special time of day we've come to know as Happy Hour,  Tonight at The LaurelThirst. You can catch up with your old friend James Low. Show starts at 6:00pm. Allow me to suggest you get there a bit earlier 'cause the place fills up fast.
