Friday early music

It's my favorite happy hour night of the month ... and tough to choose where to go!

The James Low Western Front is at the Laurelthirst ... check out this review of James' new CD, Whiskey Farmer, that has it's official release later this month. The CD is garnering all kinds of great attention at Americana music sites ... especially in Europe (often seems they know and appreciate our music a lot better than we do) ...

The Secret Society hosts the "gypsy jazz" of Swing Papillion  ...

And at the Hawthorne Theater Pub, it's Wendy & The Lost Boys for some jammy, rootsy acoustic tunes ...

A little later catch Rich Layton & The Troublemakers doing their monthly gig at Vino Vixens ... 8 pm, $5

Or ... Devin Phillips at The Blue Monk ... 8 pm, $5
