The Slow Drags do a CD release and memorial concert for their late front man, Scotland Barr Moritz, at Dante's. We Will Be Forgotten is the final release by the band - they enlisted the help of a number of Portland vocalists to finish the double-CD set after Moritz's death. Did you know that very Sunday you can enjoy Reggie Houston with your mid-morning brunch at EaT (3808 N. Williams) from 11am - 2 pm, or with dinner at Cannon's (5410 NE 33rd Ave) at 5 pm? ... Two different trios, but both with Reggie's engaging sax and vocals, New Orleans charm, and deep musical knowledge (which he generously shares) ... no cover at either, but feed yourself and the tip jar.
