Tragic local music news

Portland drummer Kipp Crawford (Celilo, Fractal Quintet) was killed early Wednesday morning in a tragic accident. Two drunk drivers were arrested for running him over after he fell into the street during what may have been a mugging. A lot of folks are in shock. Here's the story from the Oregonian. Last night at the Laurelthirst there was an impromptu gathering of the musical community in memory of Kipp. Really sad.
