Bettye LaVette will be doing two shows at Jimmy Mak's (7:30 & 9:30). I've seen Bettye twice and guarantee she will knock you out. Great singer, outstanding performer . . .and this is a great opportunity to see her in a small club setting . . . $25 @ www.ticketswest.com and call the club if you want to make a table reservation.
And over at Mississippi Studios is the very fine singer/songwriter Tim Easton. . . 8 pm, $12
