Not about shows this weekend

Sometimes I encounter things of a musical nature that I think I should post here - stuff that's interesting to me for a variety of reasons and that I occasionally think might actually be interesting to you too.

So here's a video I thought worth sharing that I found on Paul Simon's site. It's an interview with Paul from the Charlie Rose show that was done last summer. It's about 55 minutes long, but a great conversation, and finishes with Paul performing one of my favorites of his, Slip Sliding Away. Check it out.

Jim, for another side of Paul Simon, check out this interview with Steve Berlin, of Los Lobos.

Pam and Ken . . .

Thanks for the comments!

Ken . . . that's a great interview with Steve Berlin . . . kinda disconcerting comments about Paul Simon, though it's hard to believe after all these years, Berlin has had such a hard time letting go of a bad experience. But if it went down as he described, not giving Los Lobos songwriting credit was pretty crappy, and they probably should have sued him.

Haven't had a chance to check out the Paul Simon info, but did run across this different version of Sweet Home Alabama (apropos of nothing, actually, but had to share :)
